Roseann Adams, LCSW, earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has an independent clinical psychotherapy practice in Chicago. She has worked in child welfare and served as a clinical consultant to supervisory and management staff of the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services. Roseann completed an advanced clinical study certificate program in Relational-Cultural Theory at the Jean Baker Miller Training Institute of the Stone Center of Wellesley College and is a contributing author to the book, How Connections Heal: Stories From Relational-Cultural Theory. Roseann’s professional mission is to study, teach and write about positive psychology, the resilience of the human spirit and the healing power of human connection.
